Paul Roos was the captain of the first South African team to tour the British Isles. The team was largely dominated by players from Western Province, and took place during 1906–07. They played 29 matches; including Tests against all four Home Nations.

The South African Rugger Shirt is manufactured from satin touch 100% cotton and features detailed embroidery on the original patch badge, matching inner placket, cuffs and collar, herringbone detail on vents and velvet tape on the neck opening. In addition a complex ‘6’ applique patch (celebrating Francois Pienaar and Nelson Mandela’s 1995 World Cup celebrations) on the back with the subtle Ellis Rugby branding on the collar stand and tone on tone logo on the arm.
